Complete list of 2016 CRCA National Scholar Athletes
PORTLAND, Ore. --- The Portland women's rowing team had an impressive 12 rowers named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar Athletes, which is the sixth most in the nation among all NCAA DI schools. The Pilots also led the West Coast Conference with the most selections for the second year in a row.
In order to garner national scholar athlete recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better.
Portland's Elizabeth Ankeney, Kristen Garcia, Maddie Goodwin, Maggie Keller, Kelsey Kincaid, Emily Kline, Jessica Mann, Melanie Martinell, Lauren Reid, Bridget Sloat, Alyssa Soete and Molly Templin were all honored by the CRCA.
