PROVO, Utah --- Portland junior guard Haylee Andrews exploded in the fourth quarter to finish with 16 points and she added 12 assists for a double-double, but the Brigham Young Cougars held off the Pilots to win 75-68 on Saturday afternoon at the Chiles Center. It's the second double-double this season for Andrews, who missed matching a program record of assists in a game by one.
Sophomore Alex Fowler was also solid for Portland (10-11, 7-8 WCC), scoring 21 points, and Emme Shearer continued her stellar freshman campaign with 11 points.
Fowler knocked down a pair of three-pointers to open the game, and Keeley Frawley followed with a three to help the Pilots jump ahead 9-3.
