SAN MATEO, Calif. – Portland Pilots right-hander Brett Gillis was named the WCC Pitcher of the Year, making the All-WCC First Team alongside Jake Holcroft as 10 different Pilots earned All-WCC honors. Peter Allegro earned All-WCC Second Team honors, six Pilots – Sam Brown, Brock Gillis, Eli Morse, Ben Patacsil, Trace Tammaro and Jake Tsukada – garnered honorable mention and Joey Gartrell made the All-WCC Freshman Team.
The Pilots had 10 players earn All-WCC recognition. That's tied with Gonzaga for the second most of any WCC team this season, trailing only BYU. It's the most honorees the Pilots have earned in a single season in program history.
