PORTLAND, Ore. --- Portland's Julie Spencer scored a game-high 13 points, but the Pilots struggled offensively on Sunday afternoon as the Boise State Broncos left the Chiles Center with a 73-47 non-conference win. The Broncos (5-3), who are coming off a win over Washington, held the Pilots (4-5) to just 29.6 percent shooting, while combining to shoot 50.0 percent at the other end of the floor.

The game was close early as neither team was able to create much separation during the first quarter. Darian Slaga gave the Pilots the lead a few minutes in when she knocked down a jumper, and Portland still led moments later when Kate Andersen converted a lay-up.
