Bobcats Stun Pilots with Late Adamu Jumper

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Amin Adamu hit a turnaround jumper with 0.8 seconds left as Montana State pulled off a come-from-behind 61-59 win over Portland Sunday afternoon at Worthington Arena. The Bobcats (8-4) led for just 10 seconds in the game as the Pilot defense was stifling for most of the afternoon.

Portland guard Chris Austin finished with his first career double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, including numerous big shots down the stretch. Tyler Robertson added 16 points for the Pilots (8-6).

Adamu was one of four Bobcats in double figures. Tyler Patterson added 14 points off the bench, including a clutch late three to give Montana State its first lead.
