PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Pilots had two players earn United Soccer Coaches All-West Region honors this week, with Shay Adams making the first team and Bren Norris making the second team.
Adams is the first Pilot to earn first team All-West Region honors since Ellie Boon made it back in 2016. Adams was a stellar defender along the back line for Portland, playing in 19 matches for Portland with 18 starts. She helped the Pilots earn 11 shutouts on the season, the most for the team since 2010.
Norris was also crucial between the pipes for Portland, being the starting keeper in all 11 of those shutouts.
