SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The No. 48-ranked San Diego Toreros beat the Portland Pilots by a 4-0 margin on Sunday afternoon in West Coast Conference tennis action at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center. The Toreros improve to 8-7 overall and 2-0 in league play, while the Pilots fall to 6-7 and 1-2 in conference.
"I felt like we were very prepared and are reasonably healthy," Portland head coach Aaron Gross said, "but our tennis today was as bad as we have played in a couple of years. It was one of those days from top to bottom where no one could get going.
