PORTLAND, Ore. – The No. 3 Gonzaga Bulldogs remained the only unbeaten team in the nation following an 83-64 victory over the Portland Pilots Monday night at the Chiles Center. The teams took the court for the second time in less than 48 hours after the Bulldogs defeated the Pilots in Spokane, Wash. on Saturday night.
Monday's game served as a make-up for the January 7th game that was postponed due to inclement weather in Portland.
The 19-point loss was the narrowest margin of victory for the Zags (20-0, 8-0 WCC) against any West Coast Conference opponent this season.
