Today you’ll be playing as the early position raiser in a tournament against a tough opponent that called you on the Button. Starting hand ranges for both players are narrower than would otherwise be the case in a single raised pot due to your early position at the table.
You will be using a mixed strategy of sometimes c-betting and sometimes checking with many hands in your range on the flop. The size of your c-bet will depend on the texture of the board and its interaction with your respective ranges.
Turn second bullets should be a regular part of your strategy both when you have a made hand and when the turn cards favors your range but doesn’t connect with your hand.
