WCOOP 2020 Day 5: Andras "Probirs" Nemeth Wins First WCOOP Title

On the fifth day of the 2020 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), Andras "probirs" Nemeth crossed one of the few missing accolades off his list by winning a WCOOP title. The former #1 ranked tournament player in the world on PocketFives, Nemeth got the proverbial monkey off his back in WCOOP-15-H: $530+R NLHE [8-Max], where he outlasted a 294-player field to win $79,655.

In addition, two major tournaments kicked off which are both covered in the PokerNews Live Reporting section, where Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian claimed an overnight chip lead in WCOOP-16-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, High Roller].
