It was a big day at partypoker thanks to several high-stakes tournaments on the Powerfest schedule, including two events with prize pools of at least $1 million. Over at PokerStars, regular events continued alongside WCOOP, with Ryan “PROTENTIALmn” Laplante taking down the Big $215.
Powerfest Goes Big at partypoker
Powerfest resumed at partypoker with twenty-two more events taking place on Sept. 17.
Event 219 was the $5,200 Championship Event Final Phase with a $1.5 million guarantee. A total of 281 players participated, which meant the guarantee was not met, but that did not bother the 60 players who navigated their way into the money.
