From May 2-July 31, 2022, Venetian Las Vegas played host to the DeepStack Championship Poker Series, which offered more than $22 million in guaranteed prize pools over 133 tournaments.
That number was blown out of the water as $34,071,558 in prize money was awarded as 35,603 entrants competed (not including mega satellites).
Among those to capture titles during the series were Kevin Garosshen (Event #59: $600 NLH Bounty for $17,192), Kristy Means (Event #74: $600 NLH Monster Stack for $45,000), Svetlana Gromenkova (Event #99: $500 NLH LIPS Ladies for $19,127), Joon Kim (Event #122: $600 NLH Epic Stack for $82,790), and Peter Hengsakul (Event #132: $400 NLH Monster Stack for $9,000).
