The 2,074-entry field resulted in the first million-dollar prize pool of the series ($1,119,960), and after 12 hours of play, it was Ryan "Im.Sorry" Torgerson who came out on top win a $172,361 top prize and his first gold bracelet.
If his nickname rings a bell, it's no surprise. Last night, Torgerson finished runner-up in Event #9: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max. Torgerson came back for redemption and earned the victory after he navigated his way through one of the largest fields in this series.
