PokerStars has announced a $1 million freeroll tournament that will take place on Saturday, March 19. Officially titled the PokerStars $1 Million Freeroll, the tournament guarantees at least $20,000 to the winner.
Entry into the event is free, but you must win your way to the big show. Real-money players at PokerStars can claim a free satellite ticket that will grant them entry to a 90-man sit-and-go satellite. From each of those satellites, the top nine finishers will be awarded a seat in the PokerStars $1 Million Freeroll.
Here are the steps you must take:
- Open your 'Challenges Window' in the PokerStars client and opt in for your ticket
- After opting in, play one real-money hand of poker on PokerStars or one real-money tournament in order to release the ticket to your account
- Use the ticket to enter one of the 90-man sit-and-go satellites
- Finish in the top nine of one of the satellites and you will win an entry to the PokerStars $1 Million Freeroll
But, not everyone can reach the top nine of one of the sit-and-go satellites, right?
