A Las Vegas poker player is facing charges in Nevada for allegedly running an illegal brothel from her home and laundering money from the operation.
Court filings reviewed by PokerNews show that Bing Du was charged on Oct. 15 with six felonies, including earning from a prostitute and encouraging a brothel.
Local station KLAS 8 News Now reported that police described Du as a "high-rated poker player" and arrested her during a poker tournament at a Strip casino.
Poker Player Arrested Over Alleged Brothel
According to KLAS 8 News Now, Metro police investigating suspected prostitution observed "men arriving at the residence (of Du) and leaving after staying 30 minutes to an hour.
