As the moratorium on live poker events continues, the Malta Poker Championships are to become the latest festival to be played online after a joint announcement from Qufan Internet Technology Ltd, Malta Poker Festival and The Hendon Mob.
Originally scheduled for May, the poker series will now be held on Pokio after Qufan Internet Technology quickly established a framework to provide an alternative for live event organizers to still run their events on the social mobile Poker platform.
The Malta Poker Championships by Pokio will take place from the 22nd to 27th of May and feature a €30,000 GTD Main Event, a €10,000 GTD Hendon Mob event as well as a Ladies “Queens of Pokio” event, all using Pokio's state of the art mobile Poker app.
