With the 2020 World Series of Poker officially postponed and eyeing up a return in the Fall, the next scheduled WSOP-related event is the World Series of Poker Circuit Global Casino Championship scheduled for August 11-13 at Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina.
The WSOP Circuit, which had to cut its current season short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was launched in 2005 as both a build-up to the annual WSOP and to take the magic of the summer series across the country. Ten years later, the WSOPC would expand worldwide with the WSOP International Circuit.
