Five poker rooms across the US will host a "Doyle Brunson Day" on Oct. 2, with special promotions to honor the late great poker legend.
Brunson, aka "The Godfather of Poker," passed away in May at 89, just before the start of the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP). He famously won the WSOP Main Event in 1976 and 1977 with 10x2x in the hole on the final hand both years.
At a memorial during this past summer's WSOP, the poker community came together to officially declare 10/2 as Doyle Brunson Day.
