David Peters is used to winning major poker tournaments. With almost $6.3 million in online poker winnings and a ridiculous $33.7 million from the live arena, there are few players who have won more than him.
Peters added another $75,000 to his lifetime tally on January 17 when he triumphed in the $2,600 buy-in High Roller Big Game at partypoker. Peters was one of 137 players who bought into this weekend’s event, which paid out 23 places.
Sam Greenwood popped the money bubble, leaving such luminaries as Team partypoker duo Kristen Bicknell and Patrick Leonard in the money.
