The PokerStars Eureka Hamburg 2023 Main Event drew in 703 entrants and it was Germany's Amir Mazaffarian who came out on top and who turned his €1,100 investment into €123,780 from the €667,850 prize pool.
The 2023 edition of this event marked the first time Hamburg had hosted a Eureka Main Event for six years. It was also the best-attended of the Eureka Hamburg Main Events, beating the 2015 record of 581 entrants by some distance.
Mazaffarian was already known in the PokerStars live circuit after victories in side events at the 2014 European Poker Tour (EPT) London and 2015 EPT Prague festivals.
