After 17 days of non-stop action on PokerStars PA, the 2021 Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker has ended.
Each of the 41 events was comprised of three different tournaments – a High, Medium, and Low buy-in – meaning there was a total of 123 tournaments. When the dust settled, they had catered to 47,081 combined entrants and awarding $2,642,471 in prize money in the process.
That enabled the series to surpass the guarantees by about 25%. Given that there were several small overlays, it seems PokerStars PA did a solid job in posting big guarantees without taking a huge amount of risk.
