The richest online poker tournament series in the world, the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), is returning once again on PokerStars in September.
While the full schedule has yet to be released, Amaya Inc., the parent company of PokerStars, announced the 2015 WCOOP Main Event will take place from Sept. 27-28.
Poker's biggest online event features a hefty $5,200 buy-in with a huge $10 million in guaranteed prizes. Despite the huge guarantee, prize pools exceeded the $10 million mark on four separate occasions.
During last year's WCOOP Main Event, Austria's Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz became a household name after outlasting the 2,142 player field to collect $1.
