15 Years in the Making: Daniel Weinman Nabs 1st Bracelet in Event #30: $1,000 PLO

Longtime poker pro Daniel Weinman defeated Jamey Hendrickson after three hands of heads-up poker to become the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event #30: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-handed champion, good for his first-ever WSOP gold bracelet and $255,359 in prize pomey. He made it through 1,891 entries to win the biggest share of the $1,682,990 prize pool.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Weinman celebrated by having a video call with his fiancée and pet dog before hugging his star-studded rail that included Shaun Deeb, who picked Weinman in his fantasy draft for a very reasonable $1.
