It is the second consecutive year that the partypoker Caribbean Poker Party has taken place and the first year that eight-figures are guaranteed to be won. At the 2016 Caribbean Poker Party there were two tournaments scheduled: the $2,750 partypoker Million with a $2 million guarantee and the $5,000 WPT Caribbean Main Event with a $1 million guarantee.
Scotland’s Niall Farrell, who recently completed the Poker Triple Crown, took down the WPT Caribbean Main Event for $335,000.
