The Kansas City Chiefs trade rumors continue to heat up as the NFL trade deadline approaches on October 30th. The Chiefs injuries are starting to pile up as the offensive line and defensive line are down several players. Kansas City still needs help at cornerback as well. Jalen Ramsey trade rumors aren’t going away as the Jaguars cornerback “reportedly” was in Houston this weekend to see a back specialist, but then Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson posted a photo with Ramsey after the game on Sunday. Clearly, Ramsey wants out of Jacksonville. Will the Chiefs make a move for him? If the Chiefs don’t want to break the bank for Ramsey, perhaps Peterson could be an option. Peterson has to sit one more game to complete his 6-game suspension. Peterson is older than Ramsey and would almost certainly cost less in a trade. The Chiefs need help on their offensive line as Austin Wylie joined Eric Fisher on the injury report. Patrick Mahomes is nursing an ankle injury due to the O-Line not being able to hold out. Bengals center/guard Billy Price could be a reclamation project for Kansas City as the 2018 first round pick has been a bust up to this point. Perhaps, the Chiefs could buy low and bring in Price to help up front. The Chiefs defensive line needs help as well as defensive tackle Chris Jones left Sunday’s game with a groin injury. He’s likely going to miss a few weeks. Couple that with Xavier Williams’ injury and Kansas City’s D-Line is very thin all of the sudden. Geno Atkins and Steve McLendon are two veteran players that the Chiefs could trade for. Atkins would cost more, but McLendon would be a cheap backup option.
