San Francisco 49ers highlights from their first regular season game of the 2019 NFL season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 49ers beat the Bucs Jimmy Garoppolo bounced back from a second quarter pick-six against the Bucs by throwing 1 touchdown in the first half to lead the team to their first win of the 49ers 2019 season. Richard Sherman proved he still has some play left in him after picking off Jameis Winston and taking it back for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter. Before the Tevin Coleman injury, the new 49ers running back had a big 31-yard catch in the 2nd quarter to set up a Robbie Gould field goal. Mark Nzeocha also picked off Jameis Winston proving the new 49ers defense is a legitimate threat. The Niners impressed on the defensive side of the ball even without star Kwon Alexander who was ejected late in the 1st quarter after getting into a scuffle with his former team. Nick Bosa and Dee Ford both impressed in their 49ers debuts with a sack each as well.
