The latest Dallas Cowboys news & rumors on today’s show is focused on Ezekiel Elliott, Randy Gregory, Dak Prescott & Rolando McClain. News broke today that Ezekiel Elliott is getting charges pressed against him in regards to the Las Vegas Incident where a video shows Elliott shoving an employee at a music festival. The NFL recently met with Ezekiel Elliott & released a statement saying they are not going to suspend Ezekiel Elliott for his actions. Does having charges pressed against him change anything? In other Cowboys news, Randy Gregory plans to file an appeal for a “full reinstatement” on Monday in hopes to return to the Dallas Cowboys before training camp. Gregory was suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, once again. He has not missed or failed any drug tests since his latest suspension & it is unknown when or if Randy Gregory will be able to return to the Cowboys. Plus, former Cowboys LB Rolando McClain is attempting an NFL comeback. McClain has not played since 2015. He was suspended in 2016 for multiple failed drug tests & he will have to go through the NFL’s reinstatement process if he wants to return to the league. Dallas still owns McClain’s rights, so if he does get reinstated, the Cowboys can potentially trade him for a conditional draft pick in the future. NFL rumors continue to swirl around Dak Prescott signing a long-term contract extension. When will the Cowboys sign their franchise QB & how much will Dak Prescott get paid? Russell Wilson & Carson Wentz signed mega-deals this offseason & the Cowboys will likely have to sign Prescott to a similar contract because they wanted to play the waiting game.
