The 2019 NFL offseason is almost over with training camp & preseason wrapping up, so it’s time for the final projection for the Dallas Cowboys 53-man roster. This Cowboys 2019 team has more depth than in recent years, so Dallas will be faced with tough decisions at RB, WR, OL, DL, CB & S. There are some heated roster battles that have been ongoing throughout Cowboys training camp & the NFL preseason, including the backup QB battle between Cooper Rush & Mike White. It seems as if Cooper Rush has taken sole position of QB2 behind Dak Prescott. At running back, Ezekiel Elliott holds the top spot despite his current holdout & Tony Pollard has stepped up as the 2nd string RB with his impressive performance this preseason. Will Pollard have an expanded role in the Cowboys offense? Alfred Morris also makes the cut ahead of the likes of Darius Jackson & Mike Weber because of his familiarity with Dallas’ offense. Will Kerry Hyder & Joe Jackson get the boot once they return to the team? At CB, CJ Goodwin has likely solidified his spot with his preseason play, but who will earn that final spot? Michael Jackson or Donovan Olumba? One of the most notable cuts include George Iloka, who the Cowboys signed this offseason to bring in some veteran competition for Jeff Heath, but Donovan Wilson has been so impressive that it’s probably not worth holding onto him.
