Dallas Cowboys OTAs are underway, as the NFL begins to move from the offseason to the preseason. The Cowboys did not make a lot of roster moves during NFL free agency, so the Cowboys have a similar team returning in 2019. Players such as Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott & Amari Cooper are not on this list because we know what they are bringing to the table, but host Tom Downey takes us through 10 players to watch out for during OTAs heading into the NFL preseason. Some key offensive players to watch out for is Jason Witten, Randall Cobb & Tony Pollard. Jason Witten came out of retirement to rejoin the Cowboys, so it will be interesting to see how he looks after taking a year off. Randall Cobb fills the void left by Cole Beasley. The chemistry between Dak Prescott & Randall Cobb is something to watch out for. Tony Pollard was drafted to backup Ezekiel Elliott, but he will be used all over the field and should have a significant impact on the Cowboys offense in 2019. Dallas Cowboys Free Agency And Draft Review: Offseason Grades

Dallas Cowboys OTA’s have begun & the NFL offseason is coming to an end, so Tom Downey is here to give you his offseason grades for the Cowboys free agency as well as the Cowboys draft. Tom breaks down his offseason grades for Dallas’ offense, defense & special teams in terms of roster moves, draft additions & contract extensions for America’s Team. On offense, not much has changed in terms of the roster. The Cowboys lost Cole Beasley to the Bills in free agency and Dallas decided to cut Terrance Williams off the team. The Cowboys let Rod Smith walk, but capitalized in the draft by selecting Tony Pollard & Mike Weber to backup Ezekiel Elliott. Dallas re-signed Tavon Austin & added Randall Cobb to fill the void left by Cole Beasley. Geoff Swaim left in free agency, but Jason Witten came out of retirement. Travis Frederick is also expected to return to the Cowboys offensive line in 2019. On defense, the Cowboys biggest move this offseason was re-signing DeMarcus Lawrence to a 5-year, $105 MM contract extension. They also drafted DT Trysten Hill in the 2nd round, which helps solidify the defensive line after David Irving picked marijuana over playing in the NFL. Dallas also saved some cap space by restructuring Sean Lee’s deal. Even though Lee’s future is uncertain, the Cowboys LB corps should be fun to watch. The Cowboys biggest need this offseason was Safety. Although they added a couple of safeties in free agency & the draft, it is not certain that the position has been upgraded.
