With Louisville's QB Lamar Jackson, and USC's QB Sam Darnold now headed to the NFL Draft we've got a newly updated list of candidates! At No. 5 we have J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State's RB who ran for 1,403 yards as a true freshman. At No. 4 Tua Tagovailoa, better known as the national title game hero who turned heads as he had success both through the air and on the ground against one of the nation's best defenses in Georgia. Wisconsin's RB Jonathan Taylor comes in at No. 3. because breaking the great Adrian Peterson‘s all-time FBS freshman rushing record and finishing sixth in the Heisman voting your first year earns you a pretty good spot in our Heisman watch list. Khalil Tate, Arizona's QB lands our No. 2 spot as the dual-threat extraordinaire ran for 1,411 yards, passed for another 1,591 and accounted for 26 touchdowns this past season. Coming in at No. 1 is Stanford RB Bryce Love, last year's runner-up for the Heisman, he immediately becomes the preseason favorite for all the prestigious awards this upcoming season.
