The Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan base wasn’t the only group confused by the team’s plan in its Sunday loss to the Chicago Bears. So are former players. Ex-quarterback Charlie Batch watched the game with a careful eye and has a hard time understanding the Steelers’ strategy.
“When you look at those situational football, especially on third downs, there were times that the defense was playing so soft and giving up an easy first down underneath,” Batch during an interview on 102.5 DVE. “They just have to be more aware of game situations that are happening because right now it is too soft as far as that defense.
