The Pittsburgh Steelers spent plenty of resources addressing their secondary this past offseason. They traded for DB Jalen Ramsey and signed CB Darius Slay. But Slay is no longer with the team, and Ramsey has been holding down a safety spot for weeks. Thankfully, cornerbacks Brandin Echols and James Pierre have stepped it up.
Pierre had a big play in the Steelers’ win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, intercepting his cousin, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson. And the week before, Echols hauled in his second interception of the season, picking off Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen.
