Of all the potential AFC Wild Card matchups that the Pittsburgh Steelers could have theoretically had over the last month, the matchup against the Houston Texans was viewed by many as arguably the hardest, due to the makeup of the Texans’ roster, particularly on defense.
Now, after winning a wild 26-24 game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18 to win the AFC North and earn a home playoff game on Monday Night Football, the No. 4 Steelers will now face the No. 5 Texans in the Wild Card round.
On paper, it looks like a very daunting matchup, particularly due to Houston’s defense.
