Yahya Black Fined By NFL For Obscene Gesture

The Pittsburgh Steelers had a number of run-ins with the NFL rules and policies in Week 16. Of course everybody knows about WR DK Metcalf’s altercation with a fan that earned him a two-game suspension and tens of millions of guarantees voided. That wasn’t listed on the NFL’s weekly gameday accountability page, but two other infractions were. Rookie DT Yahya Black was fined for obscene gestures and Alex Highsmith was fined for tripping.

Black was fined $5,194 for Unsportsmanlike Conduct (obscene gesture) which came with 6:05 remaining in the first quarter. It came on a play where he absorbed a low hit on a double team block and made a tackle for no gain.
