WPIAL playoff races are in full swing with just two weeks to go in the regular season. The first team in the WPIAL to clinch a conference title was the Franklin Regional Panthers, who wrapped up the 5A Big East Conference with a dominant win over Hempfield. This was Franklin Regional’s first conference title since 2013 and the Panthers will be in the playoffs for the 18th time in the last 19 years.
