As we enter the final third of the WPIAL regular season, playoff races are starting to take shape and teams will begin to have opportunities to secure their spots in the postseason field. With the way the schedule is back-loaded with conference games this season, this will be the first week where any teams have the opportunity to clinch. For better or worse, the scheduling changes the WPIAL made has kept more teams in the race deeper into the season.
