Mike Tomlin is out as the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, sending yet another significant shockwave through the AFC North just a few days after another tenured head coach was let go in John Harbaugh with the Baltimore Ravens.
Fittingly, Tomlin one-upped the Ravens again on Tuesday, with news of his resignation breaking during Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti’s press conference with the media.
That led to a pretty interesting moment with Bisciotti reacting to the news of Tomlin resigning, and the possibility of the longtime Steelers head coach being a candidate for the Ravens’ opening.
