The Steelers’ season ended on a dismal note yet again, but Aaron Rodgers remains optimistic about their future. With or without him next season—that’s a topic he’s not entertaining right now—he sees a team with potential. While he spent a fair amount of time on the field scolding his teammates, he believes Pittsburgh has something.
Asked if he sees a bright future for the Steelers, Rodgers said postgame, “I think so”, via the team’s website. “You’ve got a lot of pieces in place. Signing DK [Metcalf] for five years. … I think that there’s that good combination of young guys who are ascending, and there’s some big decisions to be made.
