Mike Tomlin has been the Pittsburgh Steelers’ head coach for a long, long time. Yet, Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills could have been the worst night of his tenure.
The Steelers were once again dominated at home by a contending team. Fans booed nearly every single offensive and defensive mistake. They booed Renegade. Late in the fourth quarter, they chanted “Fire Tomlin.” Whether deserved or not, chanting to fire the head coach at home shows how poorly things are going in Pittsburgh, and it’s a mood we haven’t seen since the Matt Canada days.
Yet, former Steeler Willie Colon remains confident in Tomlin.
