For the first time since the Steelers signed Marquez Valdes-Scantling to the practice squad, the veteran receiver dressed and played. And he played as many snaps as every wide receiver not named DK Metcalf or Adam Thielen. But what does that mean for his role in the Steelers’ offense going forward, if anything?
Valdes-Scantling played a little under a third of the Steelers’ offensive snaps, 16. He saw one target when Aaron Rodgers looked for him on a third-down incompletion. Overall, there wasn’t much to say about his day.
