Will Asante Samuel Jr. take over a starting job for the Steelers?
The Steelers are making changes to the starting lineup, but will Asante Samuel Jr. be a part of the reshuffling? Having recently benched and then waived former starting CB Darius Slay, there is an opening to fill. James Pierre outperformed Slay, and thus took over the spot, but perhaps temporarily.
Pierre suffered a concussion in the Steelers’ last game, and he participated on a limited basis Wednesday. Even if he clears the concussion protocol, his level of participation may decide who starts this week.
