Will Adam Thielen play for the Steelers on Sunday?
The Steelers claimed veteran WR Adam Thielen off waivers yesterday, meaning he is on the roster—but will he play? Having spent the season back in Minnesota, he recently asked the team to waive him. They granted him that request, Thielen having seen a declining role in the offense.
While Thielen reportedly wanted to sign with a contending team, that is going to be true of 99 percent of players. According to his wife, what he really wants is to play. And I’m not really sure why the Steelers would have bothered claiming him if they don’t plan to use him.
