With their backs against the wall following two straight ugly losses and staring down the best team in the NFL coming to town for a Week 9 matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers responded in a big way, forcing six Indianapolis Colts turnovers and rolling to a 27-20 win that wasn’t anywhere near as close as the final score.
After two weeks of questions and a lot of criticism levied at them, the Steelers made a statement, putting together an impressive performance — defensively, at least — against the NFL’s best team. In the process, the Steelers moved to 5-3 on the season and increased their lead within the AFC North, too.
