The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered another blowout loss in the Wild Card round, this time at the hands of the Houston Texans. It was close until the fourth quarter, thanks to three Texans turnovers. But the Steelers’ offense couldn’t do much of anything throughout the game.
Then came the fourth quarter, when the Texans scored two defensive touchdowns (along with 10 points on offense) to make it 30-6 Houston. Despite the three turnovers, the Steelers’ offense couldn’t muster more than six points all game. Former Steelers OL Trai Essex thinks offensive coordinator Arthur Smith didn’t call a good game to deal with the stellar Texans’ defense.
