Whatever happened to the Steelers' outside pass rush? We have an explanation

Wondering why Steelers outside linebackers have been quiet in recent weeks? Why the two starters with first-round pedigrees have fewer sacks than inside linebacker Vince Williams and 44 other NFL players entering this week’s games?

While the knee-jerk reaction might be to criticize Bud Dupree and T.J. Watt for their lack of sack production through the first 10 games it’s much fairer to analyze the reasons for it. Dupree and Watt have four sacks through the first 10 games, but there is an explanation for their smaller sack totals.
