Mike Tomlin’s teams have almost always been good in primetime football for the nearly two decades that he’s been the Pittsburgh Steelers’ head coach. This season is a big departure from that trend with an 0-3 record under the lights with the whole nation watching.
Tomlin summed it up bluntly after the Steelers’ 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
“We stunk it up tonight,” he said via the Steelers’ YouTube. “We’ll be back.”
His frustration showed during his post-game press conference, and that frustration is shared by everybody who cares about the team.
