Sunday was a really important day for the Pittsburgh Steelers defensively. They struggled mightily in the past two weeks and faced a tough matchup against an Indianapolis Colts offense that rolled into this game playing at a historically good level.
Things didn’t get off to the greatest start. The Colts scored on their first drive and had a chance to jump out to a two-touchdown lead in the first quarter. However, T.J. Watt got a strip-sack, and a defense that couldn’t force a turnover for almost a month had five takeaways while special teams produced another in the Steelers’ 27-20 win.
