Following a pair of turnovers that resulted in touchdowns for the Buffalo Bills, and then a run play on 3rd and 9 leading to a white-flag-waving punt, booed filled the air last Sunday for the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
Mixed in with the boos were chants of “Fire Tomlin!” and even booing during the playing of “Renegade” on the North Shore. It made for a tough night overall, which was rather fitting for performance the Black and Gold put on the field in the 26-7 loss to the Bills.
Head coach Mike Tomlin stated he understood the booing and the chants for his job, considering it’s the entertainment business and the fans weren’t entertained and are fed up.
