Watch: Marquez Valdes-Scantling Hauls In First Steelers TD

On the same day he was signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 53-man roster, veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling made his presence felt quickly. On the opening drive of the second half, Valdes-Scantling worked open across the field off of a play-action fake, hauling in a strike from quarterback Aaron Rodgers for a 19-yard touchdown.

Valdes-Scantling has done that often with Rodgers, dating back to their time together in Green Bay from 2018-21, and now has hooked up with his quarterback again, this time in the Steel City.

Take a look at the score from Rodgers to Valdes-Scantling, extending the Steelers’ lead to 14-3 over the Dolphins early in the third quarter.
