Had Tyler Loop nailed his 44 yard field goal to send the Baltimore Ravens to the playoffs, Chris Boswell would be feeling all the heat and despair Loop is enduring. But Loop’s kick sliced right, propelling Pittsburgh to the playoffs.
In a classy moment as Loop walked off the field, Boswell came over to presumably console and comfort him. Local Pittsburgh network WTAE caught the interaction. The footage captured Boswell jogging over to Loop, grabbing his hand, and exchanging a few words.
Both kickers had critical failures in the final minutes.
